First Year Student Workshop: Intro to Plaster Casting & Alginate Molds

This workshop with Parsons faculty member Carolyn Salas offers basic instruction on the practical aspects of mold making and casting. Students will be introduced to alginate and casting plaster, how to mix plaster properly, and simple life-casting techniques. Attendees will walk away with an exact plaster cast replica of their hand and arm, or fingers!
