Prompt: Memoir: Create a flip book about a recent memory in New York City and replace its location to a random assigned location. (Location assigned: Steps of the Museum of Natural History)
I chose the dorm move in as my recent New York City memory, where I remembered having to carry multiple bags full of groceries and other household supplies up to my room. For my project, I created a hyperbolic version of my memory by replacing the lift in our dorm with the steps of the Museum of Natural History. I stitched the handles of target bags that were left after my move-in together to form a huge bag-like structure, struggling to pull it up the stairs as shown in the flip book.
