K for Kara
Prompt: We were tasked with creating a letter of our choosing out of wire, chipboard, paper, MDF, and plaster
For this project, I knew that I wanted to create the letter K because that is my wife’s initial but I couldn’t find a font that I loved so I decided to make my own. I have been really inspired recently by nature and more bio-looking forms. I wanted this letter to have the look of a cloud or water in the way that they are always shifting and moving. It was fun to get to see this letter take different feels using the various materials that we were assigned.
