D(e)constructed Utopia
Prompt: The prompt for this project was creating a layout demonstrating a deconstructed layout of my previous project, the Utopia GIF, in EPUB format.
I created this EPUB showing the deconstructed layout of the Utopia GIF I made previously. The GIF is about a utopia that focuses on shopping malls, sushi, and roses. I made my shopping bags, sushi, and roses into squares to create similarity for Gestalt Principles. I enjoyed doing this project. Through making this project, I experienced some useful tools, such as bevel, mapping, and meshing. More importantly, I learned how to make a GIF and an EPUB using Photoshop and Illustrator. The layout for EPUB shows the title of the project, the color palette I used, and my process of making the Utopia GIF.
