I created a video that is about the natural ways in which time progresses without the invention of a clock. I was inspired by an except from a short story in a book by Alan Lightman called “Einstein’s Dreams”, which ended up being the audio for the film. I interpreted and conveyed the words of this short story in the film the way I visualized them in my brain. I knew that I wanted to tell the story through bright colors and candy. The artificial color palette and visual choices created a contrast between the natural theme of time and the human invention of time. The given assignment was open to so much creative visual interpretation and I took the technique of stop motion and theme of time to show my perspective.
