Prompt: For this assignment, we were challenged to create custom wear for a client utilizing the laser lab.
After I redirected from creating a piece for someone else to one for myself, I thought about what kind of adornment I would want. I took inspiration from baroque jewelry as well as star tattoos where dark and light are used to create a three-dimensional effect. From that inspiration, I created a headpiece resembling the sun with corresponding earrings to resemble rays of light dripping from the headpiece.
