Innocence of Rebirth

Class of: 2026

Major: Interior Design BFA

Medium: Watercolor

Faculty: Alaiyo Bradshaw

Prompt: A self-driven project and creation of our own proposal. Where we create colors and harmonic narratives of our own, with exciting composition and visual relationships that reflect our own ideas. Including all of the techniques we were taught throughout the semester but with our own style.

The proposal I created is a two-piece series, where I explore radiant colors with a child-like imagination, exploring many colors along with strong movements. Creating a connection between the two. I decided to call it Innocence of Rebirth because of the imagination of a childlike painting style I wanted to go for, meanwhile, having the fishes be a symbolic meaning behind it. Where it means rebirth along with nature.
