At first, I think it would be very hard to connect found images and words. However, I feel like inspiration comes eventually when I was collecting them. Also, I didn’t think that I can present a clear storyline. Then I realized that it doesn’t have to be a clear story as long as it expresses feelings or ideas or the change in them. Thus, I made an unrealistic story with a lot of symbolism and imagination. It is also very important to let found materials guide me instead of searching for them with a clear idea. I tried looking for words and images with a clear vision of what I want and I often get stuck. Also, doing this would prevent me from thinking outside the box since I would start using the words I always use and lose creativity.
