Prompt: With this assignment, we were asked to learn about the entire process of making one of our favorite objects. Once we had done that it was then our job to recreate this object to the best of our ability. I chose to re-create an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 'Bred Toe'.
Making this project gave me such an appreciation for all of the objects I use daily, helping me to understand and admire the design of the product in its entirety. From how it’s constructed, to why things are made the way they are, with the materials they are made from, etc. There is so much history packed into the shoe itself that I hope I was able to do it justice in my, for lack of a better term, “hack-job” mimicry.
