Westchester Exists In Fragments. Today I’ll Try To Put Them Back Together
Prompt: The prompt was to read “Bourdain's Field Notes from New Jersey,” by Anthony Bourdain and then respond to it with a reminiscence, reflection, or travel diary about your own hometown, or even your own home.
To me, my home exists in fragments of the places and experiences I endured throughout my childhood and teenage years. It’s formatted through me reminiscing on my youth and my time growing up in Westchester from the perspective of a Freshman in college in the current quarantine conditions I’m living in. It is truly the essence of how I grew up and what made me the person and artist I am today.
