Prompt: Memory is an action or process of commemorating, recollecting, or remembering a person, object, or event. How do these actions and processes shape identity and our understanding of the world?
This project was a piece of prose that I wrote examining my history and how it contributed to my present, particularly pertaining to my interest in art and making things, but also feelings of distance between New York and the small town where I grew up and a sort of inadequacy complex that grows from that.
