Modern Narcissus
Prompt: By using time, I had to choose my own topic and create a time capsule by using Photoshop.
I was very interested in narcissistic characteristics so I researched narcissism with timeline. Attempted to portray “Narcissus” from Greek mythology in a contemporary manner. This piece is a portion of the final work. By showing many reflections of the figure on the diamond, it shows the elements of a narcissistic person. I tried to portray narcissism in a modern way with using expressions like exaggeration, colorful colors, mirror reflecting, etc.
