Prompt: The assignment prompt was for my Integrative Studio I Bridge III Final: students must create an examination of a historical event and situations with an emphasis on the past, present, progress, and future "state of things" as it relates to your own history.

Admitting that I am Jewish has never been easy for me. I have always felt disconnected from this title, despite it being an identifier for the entirety of my father’s side of the family. My film titled “Jew- Ish” explores my relationship with Judaism and accepting that being “Jewish” comes in many different forms. I chose a scrapbook format to give the film a more casual and relaxed feel – my goal was to make the viewer feel as though they have a connection to my family and to understand the complicated and infinitely original nature of family.
