Prompt: Text and Image: Adaptation; Wordless; Narrative Composition
Throughout these assignments, I learned and experienced different types of comics, and how time and closure work in sequential art. In the text and image adaptation, I tried to adapt images for the story of The Fox and the Crow without directly displaying the main characters. The wordless was inspired by my everyday life; the narrative composition was inspired by Aidan Koch’s Blue Period, and I also tried to incorporate colors and explored different textures.
