Prompt: Practice measurements and planning to create a 3D object/s. Practice using wood as a material to create a 3D object/s. Using woodshop & hand tools to create a small wood object-accessory from plywood or hardwood.

This project is a piece of jewelry inspired by corsetry. It consist of 8 identical pieces of plywood that are cut and drilled to fit the measurements of my neck. Each wooden piece is coated with a layer of oil to make the colors that more vibrant and prominent. All pieces are laced together using a black satin trim and the closure is created the same way as on a corset.
