“In the Park” is an autobiographical comic that I have created when I was assigned to draw an autobiographical comic for my First Year elective Comics: Theory and Practice. This piece was created a few weeks after I’ve left New York City due to the pandemic. Due to the pandemic, I am back in the neighborhood that I been living in for the past 5 years. There is this park in the neighborhood that I used to have to walk through every day to get to school. I’ve grown and changed a lot through these years and walking in the park now made me think about all the changes that happened to me. From my state of mind, people around me, to the way I look. Many things have changed, and the park is a witness to all these changes.
