I used similar elements in this series of works, such as masking the black part in the front of the picture, and the texture and feel of the picture. I used polka dots to create a retro and fashionable style, which is like the style of 80s pop art. Not only that, I also used a lot of my own self-portraits and photos to make collages. I believe it is very interesting because I can see my progress through them as those are different periods. At the same time, when making collages by hand, I used a weaving method to weave different patterns together to form an interlaced effect, and then put them into Photoshop for color adjustment and filter to make them uniform.

Most of the detailed elements of this series of works are a summary of the knowledge I learned in different classes this semester and a small summary of the artistic works I created in different classes. The bright yellow cross section in the first picture is actually the packaging of a dessert shop that I really like. The movie screenshot in the second picture is from a famous movie called” a bright summer day”. At the same time, I used the imagery of snakes and eagles in the foreground for the second picture.
