Prompt: We were assigned a restaurant for which we had to design a matchbox/ matchbook. We had to use the imagery, colors, and textures from the restaurant. We chose 4 photos and from every image, we had to choose at least one element to incorporate into our designs.
For my restaurant choice, I was assigned a Greek restaurant – Pylos. It is located on 128 E 7th St, New York. After visiting the restaurant, I decided to stick to using a lot of warm, earthy tones along with a wooden texture as most of the furniture was made out of wood.
