This is a place where I lived in New York.

This is a place I never thought I would live.

This is a place where dreams, fantasies, futures, came true.

But this is also a place where fears, doubts, unknowns, become reality.

This is not only my room,

But my life.

Parsons School of Design has offered students innovative approaches to education since its founding in 1896. Today we’re the only American art and design school within a comprehensive university, The New School, which also houses a rigorous liberal arts college and a progressive performing arts school.
