Lumine Tarot Deck
Prompt: The Lumine Tarot Deck is a Parsons Integrative Studio Project where we have to create 52 different cards and a box. Each card is inspired by a word from the from the following inquiries: “12 words that describe yourself”, “12 words that represent academic/career interests”, “12 words that shows social issues that concerns me”, 4 wild cards that represents the “name of my first pet”, “favorite place or landscape”, “something that made me cry”, “something that made me laugh”, and lastly “12 words derived from an observation”.
The stellar Lumine Tarot Deck brings together traditional imagery inspired by the symbolism of the classic Rider-Waite-Smith Tarot deck, combined with celestial symbols, and original concepts based on the assignment prompts to help you connect with your cosmic spirit, to bring you guidance from universal source, and to channel your intuition.
All illustrations are sketched by hand, outlined digitally, and printed on Bristol paper. Using gold gel pen, the writings are carefully written and like a coloring book— parts of the illustration are colored with detail.
