Prompt: We were asked to find an image and combine it with a word and colors that go along with color theory.
I decided to make two sets (3 images each) that tell a story that is meaningful to me. The first set I made was about an island off the coast of Puerto Rico called Vieques. It is one of the 5 bioluminescence bays in the world. I go through the stages of how the island is viewed through the eyes of those that occupy, visit, and the earth itself. My second set of images is about the cycle of Glamour. When I was a little girl glamour always meant shiny, glittery clothes. As I grew older I began to see how many glamourous idols that I admired were just as human and susceptible to tragic endings or cycles of abuse whether that be drugs or alcohol.
