Prompt: The assignment was to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art and write a description paper of a sculpture of your choice, without researching said sculpture.
I tried to describe the object as best as I could without doing research on the context or artistic intent of the sculptor. However, I do have a little bit of background knowledge regarding Buddhist art and its notable motifs, so I applied some of that here.
